Materiality matrix

The material issues underpinning the 2017 Annual & Sustainability Report were defined through a cycle of surveys held with key stakeholders in 2016. This matrix matured and was incorporated into management over the past year on a basis of the opportunities for improvement of the report identified with the IIRC and capital market representatives.

From this point on, the material issues were regrouped into five corporate issues and two related to modes of transport (toll roads, urban mobility and airports), reflecting synergies of structure and management. Excellence and Innovation was incorporated into Quality of Service, and Relationship with Grantor and Regulatory Authority was absorbed by Governance and Ethical Conduct.

Business strategy and economic performance

The efficacy of the strategy and the solid growth of CCR Group further the development of a high-quality, reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure, guaranteeing decent working conditions and preventing and minimizing environmental impacts.

Governance and ethical conduct

The adoption of best corporate governance practices along with the highest standards of compliance is instrumental in bringing about responsive, inclusive, participatory and representative decision making, ensuring the promotion of human rights and anti-corruption action while building up an ethical business environment.

Relations with stakeholders and community development

The dialogue with communities and the performance os CCR Institute promote access to education, health and culture, reinforcing efforts geared towards sustainable development by encouraging sensitivity and awareness amog the stakeholder network of CCR Group.

Development of human capital

People management, focused on retaining talent, training employees and garanteeing a motivating work environment, promotes full and productive employment, decent work and the eradication os degrading labor practices.

Quality of service

Excellence in transport mode operations (toll roads, mobility and airports) and corporate innovation improve the technological capacity of the business sectors and provide access to safe, afordable and sustainable transportation systems, based on management policies and practices for business sustainability.

The safety of operations, employees and transport users (toll roads, mobility and airports) is essential for access to transport systems and inclusive urbanization, with absolute respect for human rights.

Operational eco-efficiency

The incessant quest to reduce environmental impacts and optimization in the consumption of natural resources form the basis os sustainable business management, helipng to build a low carbon economy and minimizing risks to biodiversity.
